In a commendable effort to safeguard the health and well-being of the residents of Nembe Local Government Area (LGA), Anyiam Kennedy Ekenedirichukwu,the corps liaison officer Member LGA and his dedicated team from Ilulu Primary Health Care Center embarked on a comprehensive immunization campaign. The initiative, which extended across various communities such as Mein Polo Tiri, Ose Polo, Sikaka Polo, Oluasiri, and others, was a significant milestone in the fight against preventable diseases. Over 1,500 residents received vaccinations for Yellow Fever and COVID-19, thanks to the collaborative efforts of multiple health teams deployed across the LGA. Bayelsa state is one of the most susceptible states in terms of danger exposure in Nigeria. This is due to it's geographical distribution among other factors. Recently,the state was ravaged by Flood. Millions were affected directly and indirectly. Claimed the lives of many, others displaced alongside other disheartening occurences. The government,NGOs and several other collaborating agencies did the much they could to alleviate the effect of the flood by providing relief to the affected residents. The government, despite their Goodwill and intensified efforts cannot come to the aid of everyone. Hence calling for the aid of people of Goodwill to complement their great efforts.
