 Anyiam Kennedy and his team at Nembe LGA,BAYELSA STATE have been conducting several community Development service. Indeed, it is said that when there is passion, Nothing is impossible. Anyiam Kennedy E. since he set foot in Opu-Nembe has intensified efforts to ensure the LGA is in the map and activities recognized both locally and internationally.  From leading the Medical C.D.S team into several outreach and community development services  To creating a blog to document Corps members' activities which has been an inspiration to corps members in other locations such as Ogbia,Ekeremor,Yenagoa etc encouraging healthy competition  To becoming the Corps Liaison Officer and motivating the corps members into several activities geared towards community development and fostering unity among sister communities. ANYIAM KENNEDY,TEAM FEATURE IN BAYELKOPA MAGAZINE FOR IMPACT

 Bayelkopa magazine is a yearly magazine that features news, activities of the national youth service corps and most importantly activities that touch lives. Nembe LGA was not found missing as the "Touch A Life Initiative" where Anyiam Kennedy Ekenedirichukwu (the corps leader) of Nembe Local Government Area and his team of enthusiastic corps members embarked on a community development project that touched hundreds of lives. Their featuring in the BAYELKOPA magazine will not just encourage them but also motivate other corps members to engage in impactful community development service projects. Anyiam Kennedy Ekenedirichukwu was applauded for his keen interest in community development and his leadership spirit and urged him to continue motivating the corps members to make meaningful impact in their host community 

ANYIAM KENNEDY EMBARKS ON GROUNDBREAKING PROJECT BEFORE LEAVING OFFICE

 OPU-NEMBE CORPS MEMBERS REJOICE AS THEIR NEW OFFICE  Ever since March,2023. The NYSC Zonal office in Opu-Nembe,Nembe LGA bayelsa State which has been dormant for too long was revitalized as approved by the new LGI(MRS. BECKY JAMES)  Despite this new development,the office has been dormant partly because there are no basic amenities needed for it's proper functioning. Table and chairs were moved from other locations to the venue to hold certain events. This became a concern and the C.L.O, Anyiam Kennedy promised to look into the case. After months of writing proposals and persistent follow ups. On May, 9th 2023 the dream became a reality as the personal project embarked on by the CLO was now completed AMONG THINGS PROVIDED ARE: ✅ A modern table with rollers and drawers ✅ Plastic chairs ✅ A mini cupboard These will in no small way add life to the office and improve the functionality of the said venue while maintaining status quo within and outside NYSC setting. ANYIAM KENNEDY MOTIVATES CORPS MEMBERS TO MAKE HISTORY ONCE AGAIN

 OPU-NEMBE CORPS MEMBERS MAKE HISTORY, EMBARK ON INTENSIVE HUMANITARIAN SERVICE One of the cardinal aspects of the NYSC is cultural integration and intercommunal development and fostering these values remain priority. Opu nembe corps members embarked on a programme tagged: "Touch a life initiative" to ensure that impact is made while contributing their own quota towards the attitudinal development of their host community Several services were rendered such as: 🌞Free medical services featuring medical tests including diagnosis and drug administration by trained corps professionals in the field 🌞 Shoe making 🌞 Tailoring 🌞 Hair dressing 🌞 Barbing 🌞 Pedicure and manicure  🌞 Among others. ANYIAM KENNEDY BACKS S.A.E.D COORDINATOR TO HOST FIRST S.A.E.D DISPLAY

Skill Acquisition is very crucial and given the Nigerian society where several young school leavers do not always have the luxury of getting a job after school. It is advisable to have a skill. Anyiam Kennedy E (the corps liaison officer,Nembe LGA) has held several meetings with the Local Government Inspector (L.G.I) on the need to inspire corps members to learn skills and crafts in other to become financially independent. This was particularly difficult because Nembe is a remote location devoid of electricity and certain social amenities and the locals do not have the literacy to educate corps members on new skills.  Corps members take advantage of this and decide not to make impact as well as learn new skills to improve themselves. OPU-NEMBE RESIDENTS,CORPERS MOURN THE DEATH OF THEIR CORPS WELFARE

 Our tears are like the rain, like the blinding dust of this Earth. Indeed man is but dust. It was on Wednesday evening, the CLO(Anyiam Kennedy Ekenedirichukwu) received a distress call from the Treasurer of the community improvement union stating that the Corps welfare had died. This was shocking because the CLO just spoke to him few days earlier, the next day the CLO accompanied by two of his executives(Secretary and SAED coordinator) alongside the Treasurer paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased. ACTUAL CAUSE OF HIS DEATH After due consultations with his family, particularly his wife it was discovered that he had been battling with PROSTATE CANCER for some time. Most recently he had crisis due to chronic cold which led to him being sick for some days. He was moved to Yenagoa accompanied by his In-law,a Professor at Niger Delta University (NDU) after failure to respond to treatment. He gave up the ghost at a Yenagoa hospital. OLD POST - TONGUES ROLL AS OPU-NEMBE CORPERS EMBARK ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICE IN THEIR HOST COMMUNITY

Community development service remains one of the Cardinal programs of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) ensuring cultural integration through inter personal relationship and ensuring that corps members do not just embark on their primary assignments but look towards the betterment of their host community. Having this in mind, corps members serving in OPU-NEMBE community,Nembe LGA of Bayelsa state saw the need to make their presence felt by the host community. They came up with a program, "TOUCH A LIFE INITIATIVE" under the chairmanship of the C.L.O at the time Vincent Ebuka and the CDS coordinator Anyor J. Tor. The program held on the 31/1/2023 and was geared towards providing free services to the host community which include: Hair dressing,baking, tailoring and amendment of torn clothing,shoe making,medical services among others.
